James Caan and Adam Sandler - weird resemblance

I just saw this classic after not having seen it in a good 20 years, and I couldn't get over the resemblance between Adam Sandler and James Caan. Go watch the movie Spanglish and tell me that Sandler in that movie doesn't look like Caan. It looks like they've shared the same dentist to have their teeth whitened. And the hair is like they're brothers or something. Even right down to the clipped speech patterns. Pretty strange.

Continuing with the SNL comparison, that guy just imported from the Manilla team, who tries to deck Jonathan E. in the training session looks exactly like Will Ferrell. Take a good long look at the guy, when they go in closeup on his face. I smell another remake! (Just kidding, of course.)

Just finished watching the movie and I was thinking the exact same thing, especially when Caan made his "I'm confused/thinking" face (which was basically any scene outside of the rink). Good to know I'm not the only one who noticed this.

I don't remember a Soylent Blue. Is it made out of dolphins? (:-)

Maybe Adam Sandler is a fan of James Caan. Caan was the second person Sandler mentioned in "The Chanukah Song".

I always thought young James Caan and Ben Affleck look similar.
