'This is the Houston team! Houston! Houston!' (spoiler inside)

This movie has an actor named John Beck who plays Moonpie, who chants "This is the Houston team! Houston, Houston, Houston!" just before getting killed in a game against Tokyo.

And the Houston Texans NFL team has a player named John Beck. Just didn't know if anybody had brought that up before. ;)

Moonpie shouldn't have taken the Tokyo team so lightly. I almost knew he was going to get seriously injured or killed that game.

I couldn't believe that the Houston team did not want to listen to the strategy coach played by Robert Ito speak about the Tokyo team's use of karate and hapkido. I would have been all ears. But Houston was a "power team" and very cocky.
