Why would Peter Proud do his daughter?

Granted, Jennifer O'Neill was one heck of a woman, but that's no excuse to carry out an incestuous relationship with his daughter!

The way I see it, Jeff was pretty much a male slut. Yes, his soul was Ann's father but I doubt it would have been difficult for him to rationalize that "he" (Peter Proud) wasn't. No excuse, correct, but a bad enough reason.

Do you hate me because I have no avatar? Do you even give a damn?

Because it was the 70's....

I concede that if I discovered that Ann was my daughter from a previous incarnation, I wouldn't touch her. But let's remember that it was Jeff Curtis' soul that was reincarnated, not his DNA. Technically, Peter and Ann are no more related to each other than I am to David Duke.

Is very bad to steal Jobu's rum. Is very bad.

It could be a matter of Peter being attracted to her, and fighting with the ghost or soul contained within him. Remember that by the end, he wanted his psychologist friend to bury the information regarding his reincarnation so Peter could live HIS life.

I think it's pretty clear from the scene where he rapes Marcia that Jeff was a pretty bad guy. I think it makes sense that he would be inclined to do something like that in his "possession" of Peter Proud, so to speak.
