When Warren Oates and Peter Fonda are riding their motorcycles, and Warren falls into the mud, he says, "I'm getting too old for this sh!t". He delivers the same line six years later in Stripes.

Just saw this movie and when I heard that line - being from 1975, I wondered if it was the first time that "famous" line was ever uttered on film. Anyone know?

I didn't even realize Warren Oates and Sgt."Big Toe" Hulka were one in the same until the OP mentioned it. And yes, there are 2 similarities in this movie and Stripes. The RV and the famous line.

If I ever buy an RV, I'm going to name it the Alba Varden. And everytime I start it, I'm going to say "I'm getting too old for this sh_t"!
