-Shouldn't someone have been bitten by the rattlesnakes in the RV?

-I'm not one of these type of people, but don't Roger and Frank seem like they'd be more concerned with keeping their bikes and RV in one piece?

-How did Kelly know right away that it was from witches?

-How does the ancient Aztec theology tie in with Satanism?

-How didn't the police see the piece of paper on the back window?

-Wouldn't it be more believable if less elderly people were part of the cult?

Keep in mind, I didn't dislike this movie. It was a decent movie that could've been better. And these questions arent being posed to rag on the flick, but just ones to think about. Maybe some of the answers just add to mystique of the whole situation, I dunno.

Perhaps it was a bit farfetched that nobody got bitten. But it's a terrifying scene, nonetheless.

What gives you that idea? I thought they were more concerned about the safety of their wives.

It was because of her paranoia. Remember when everybody was staring at her in the pool? That would have triggered it off.

I believe it was mentioned that the Aztec rituals are very much similar to satanic rituals in terms of sacrifice.

I don't think that the rune was there when the cops were doing their investigations at the RV. Seems like it just mysteriously appeared the next morning long after the cops were done with their work.

That's a good question. Maybe the cult was having trouble trying to recruit younger members.

What I mean is that they just seem like those type of guys. I know people who pride themselves on their vehicles, so I just figured they'd be more worried about that, if only in the beginning before the heavy sh!t started happening.

As someone stated already, the rune was left there the morning after. The police were done with the RV at that point.
Regarding the old people, I like this. Makes it seem like they don't get 'new recruits' very often. Plus, a town full of old people is creepy as hell.
