Lara Parker who plays Kelly in RWTD played a witch on a tv show called Dark Shadows, which my mom watched when she was a kid. She said it was a spooky show, really creeped her out as a kid.

She also played a supernatural character in an episode of The Night Stalker tv show.

Yes, she's part of the reason I watched the movie in the first place. Dark Shadows is my favorite show. I found it interesting that when they found that strange letter she knew right away it was connected to witchcraft while everyone else asked "what's a rune?" It was probably just written to explain the note so the viewers wouldn't be confused, but I thought it was an interesting coincidence.

She (Parker) is not that attractive a woman! Cancel all admiration for her looks or rather juvenile acting.
