I've been to Hanging Rock.
I happen to live in Victoria, the state where the rock is located. Unfortunately, since the movie, it's become a popular tourist attraction, so it doesn't feel as isolated or mystical as it does in the movie.

shareI watched this one night at Hanging Rock they had a cinema screen on a flatbed truck. Hanging Rock has this sinister vibe to it. Anyway at the end of the film these girls who were all dressed in period costume come walking out of the darkness behind the flatbed.
It was chilling and cheesy all at once! They were part of the audience not sure if it was a planned thing or just coincidence that they came out towards the end of the film.
Sounds spooky.
