Why?

Anyone know why the Comden/Green/Styne and Leigh/Charlap score was not used for this production? Was there trouble getting permission, or was it not even considered? It's just sort of odd that they'd write a new score when there was a great one already in existence, especially since the Newley/Bricusse score is far from their best work.
