As a thriller? FAIL. As a comedy!? EPIC WIN!!

Dude, I'm coming to love Eurotrash as much as anyone! I've seen many that are very beautiful and some that are very suspenseful... but this one was just a flat-out laugh riot, and I don't mean that to be insulting... I truly enjoyed this and would watch it again.

Now, a lot of the fun, I think, is in watching the dubbed version. The three scenes that really stood out were Carlo seducing the first girl in the Sauna ... ("Hey, you're right, the shutter ISN'T clicking. What is it with this thing? Must be faulty." MEGA-LOL!)... the fat man driving like a lunatic and making fun of the girl for being scared, only to reveal himself to be impotent immediately following and then preparing to make love to his sex doll... and finally the anal joke at the very end!

I don't know if the writers/producers meant to make such a comic movie... I did jump ONE time when the killer lept out at someone... but otherwise the suspense element was really lacking. But the humor made it a win!

Absolutely hit it on the head - the suspense scenes have too much negative space going on, too long and drawn out just walking around a room etc. But the lines are so good from the start that it must be on purpose no doubt. Where most dubbed Giallos get lost in translation, this movie's dialogue is actually funny and witty. When the one guy is impotent and the girl says "Don't make an opera out of it." Mostly the photographer has all the lines - it is almost like Mystery Science Theater 3000 dubbed his parts. He's an ass, but a very funny ass.
