2008 is the 70th anniversary of the radio broadcast!

Perfect time to dust off this great TV movie and finally give it an official home video release! Until then, check out Alpha's DVD of MARS INVADES THE EARTH. It has the STUDIO ONE production of "The Night America Trembled," which also dramatized the events around the Orson Welles broadcast. (Cast includes Edward R. Murrow, a young Warren Beatty, Warren Oates, John Astin and James Coburn.) The DVD also contains an episode of the old LIGHTS OUT! tv series, "The Martian Eyes."
