Terrific movie

'Night Moves' is one of the great anti-private eye films. It plays like Dashiel Hammett meets John Le Carre via Russ Meyer, with a final shot that's bleak every for the 1970s.

Personally, I liked this more than Arthur Penn's much more famous film, 'Bonnie & Clyde'.

Yes, a terrific movie, even though (like "The Big Sleep") I'm not quite clear about everything that was happening. "Night Moves" is very much like a John D. MacDonald "Travis McGee" novel.

i never did comprehend what was going on in the big sleep.
