This is the most realistic fight scene I have ever seen!

Have a look at "Eastern Promises".

The fight scene in "Eastern Promises" seems to be heavily influenced by the one in another Arthur Penn classic, "The Miracle Worker".

Fantastic scrap, totally unexpected. And surprised that Tom proved such a bruiser, especially against a former NFL star.

I liked when Tom grabbed a big conch shell and strategically kept hitting Hackman in the forehead with it, drawing considerable blood. Looked cruel, brutal and funny, all at the same time.

I saw a fight scene on "Bonanza" between Joe (Michael Landon) and Dean Jones. Believe it or not, it was spectacular, one of the best I've seen.

It was pretty good up until the end, you can't have a "realistic" fight scene end that way ...unless it's in a comedy.
