Susan Clark's hair

Good lord...possibly the worst hair I've ever seen in a decent production value feature film. The hair and make-up person should go to movie purgatory for this one, Clark's hair makes her look like a 15 year old boy who hasn't had a haircut in two years. Wow. Good movie though.

Actually, I'd completely disagree. She's the hottest in the movie. The youngish hairstyle makes a good juxtaposition to her age. It makes her look mature but lively instead of tomboyish or old.

Yeah, that cut was very popular in the late 70's and even early 80's. I forgot what they called it.

That was an extremely popular hairstyle for many years-I believe it was called a "shag". It's gone through many variations over the years. I'm surprised you haven't seen other women with the same or a similar cut in other movies that were filmed in that same time period-early to mid-seventies. I was recently watching Jane Fonda in, "Klute" and she sported a very similar hairstyle.

Cheers.

so did donna mills in play misty terrible cut!

It takes a lot to make Donna Mills look bad-her face was still beautiful in that movie (great flick, Btw) but the hair-awful.
I think the most famous person sporting the shag was, "Carol Brady" from, "The Brady Bunch".
I've now concluded the great, "Shag" cuts of the seventies. Lol.

That was a very popular haircut at the time. Between the hippy and the Farrah came the shag.

Bad hair, more than made up for by her big areolas.
