When Quentin and his camp pals are cringing in fear of the approaching "roughs", are the roughs in question a gang of tough, butch gays, or a gang of homophobic louts?

lol they're homophobic louts. don't think they would have been so frightened of butch gays :P

Probably homophobic louts, but as Quentin stated, some of them may have been repressed homosexuals (or at the very least the one who flipped when Quentin suggested he was "queer").
