does anyone know where i can find an uncut, region one dvd of this film? i am collecting all 74 video nasties. i need 27 more and this is one i am having trouble locating.

"In total 74 separate films appeared on the list at one time or another. Thirty-nine films were successfully prosecuted under the Obscene Publications Act but some of these films have been subsequently cut and then approved for release by the BBFC. The remaining 35 were either not prosecuted or had unsuccessful prosecutions."

It's sad, but they wanted to originally ban The Big Red One because they though it sounded like a porno title. Classic!

The closest thing to a DVD anywhere is the one by Tripictures released in Spain as Maladicion de la Bestia, Spanish language only. There are bootlegs of a Dutch subtitled English language version but the picture quality is universally poor, especially when compared to the Spanish DVD. Either should be a fairly easy codefree DVD-R score on iOffer.
