Does anyone know 20th Century Fox has never released this on video?
Like the reveiwer, I too have always had a soft spot for this film. I saw it in the theater when it was brand new, and to this day, I can remember the great time the audience had. Yes, it is interrupted about 2/3 of the way through with graphic violence which seems out of place relative to the tone of the film up to that point. However, in my opinion, it was not enough for me to dismiss the rest of the film. The movie boasts a veteran director, and 3 A-List actors. Considering the amount junk that is available on video and DVD, I can't figure out why Fox hasn't bothered to release this for purchase. I ended up taping it from the WE channel but that's as close as I've been able to get to owning my own copy.share
