Does anyone know where a copy, either DVD or video, of "Lies My Father Told Me" might be purchased?

No, I don't have any idea as to where a copy might be purchased & that is a sad thing. This site could do a GREAT service IF they could show where copies of movies like this as well as 'Skippy' starring Jackie Cooper & its sequal (I've forgotten the title at the moment)could be purchased.

There's a guy in Illinois, advertising DVD's of Lies on E-bay for 9.95. I won the auction and the guy never sent me info on payment, so I figured he's not trustworth.

I'm also interested in getting this movie, vhs or dvd, will pay up to 10.00.

I now notice that what appears to be the same person under another name is still selling dvd copies. That person is located in harwood heights il. Apparently there were other negative feedbacks and the person has simply re-registered using a different name to sell merchandise to avoid the posting of a less than favorable seller's rating. Beware.

I do periodic searches for this film and always come up short. I haunt the internet sometimes for this one.

I just looked in Netflix and they say they carry the movie

Netflix claims to carry it but they do not, you can only QUEUE it, meaning; "Release date is unknown; availability is not guaranteed."

I'd love to track down a DVD of this, watched it as a kid and grew up in Montreal so it was shot in my old neighborhood. Have kids of my own now, would be a great treat for the family. If I find this (I'm determined) I'll post an update here.

whoever this is, it is not a legal copy.

An official copy of Lies is hopefully going to be released in time for Xmass/Chanukah.
