The Real Katherine

Was Diane Oughton, granddaughter of a founder of The Cub Scouts and her remains are buried in Dwight, Illinois. This piece of garbage planned to murder American soldiers at a dance at Ft. Dix using a nail bomb. Terrorism only pisses off real Americans. Yeah that's right Dzhokar Tsaenov. You will die in prison.

I find her story fascinating. And i don't consider the choices she made to be any more "wrong" than the misguided path the United States government insisted on following during those turbulent years. History is the final judge, and neither side on the extremes of the political spectrum in those days behaved in any way admirably.

Sandoz, you don't risk your life posting anti-American propaganda on the Internet (which would not exist as a free forum if the USSR won the Cold War). A Soviet version of Sandoz would be sent to a labor camp.

Moreover, a nail bomb set off by The Weatherman Underground killing and maiming dozens of American soldiers in New Jersey, would galvanize the public against the anti-war Left. You radical leftists are not only treasonous but are not smart. I expect to see some OWS and Anonymous members joining ISIS.

And you seem to be basing your virulent condemnation of this person (and by default, the entire anti-war movement) based on a deed that was never carried out, only conspired to be carried out. The fact that it did NOT happen is what's significant here. If anything, once the explosion occurred, it caused most radicals who had been leaning towards support of acts of violent opposition to the war to re-think their positions about this path of protest.

But since you jumped all over my post after I responded to yours from 8 months ago means you obviously haunt certain message boards just so you can spew your rightest agenda in retaliation to any differing opinion...so then, adios. Enjoy your spewing.

Someone dies in the act of trying to do something, and therefore we shouldn't hold that act against them.. because it never happened? That's a fascinating perspective, and I don't believe for one second that you actually adhere to it.

And the only thing political here is your intellectually bankrupt attempt to defend this woman. When I watch the movie "The Shining" I hold Jack's attempted murder of his wife and child against him every bit as much as I would if he had actually killed him. Same with this woman, regardless of her politics.
