Unique Chrissie photos

Hi all, I've seen some unique photos of Susan Backlinie as Chrissie but they are not the typical ones we all see on the internet. Ive seen images of her signing photos at convention on Google & Yahoo but I can't find them online. Perhaps some of you guys out there could upload an image of any you may have. I pic I see her sign is a photo of her as Chrissie in front of the buoy. Not the one one where she is on an angle screaming but it almost looks as if the water is a bit calmer but she is directly in front of the buoy………any help would be appreciated, thanks much all.

Sorry, I haven't seen those photos. I imagine that you've used Google Images and the images function on Bing. Other than that, I wouldn't know where to obtain those photos, unless Backlinie has a website...

Thank's anyway though

Oh, you're welcome. Best of luck in locating those rare pictures.

There's also pics of her swimming looking pained in the DAYLIGHT. Always wondered why this was...the scene is at night.

If you've seen a full daylight still photo from that scene it means they probably used a day for night cinematographic technique to shoot that scene.

Yes, Chrissie's death was shot in broad daylight and "darkened" in post production. As mentioned in an earlier post, this technique is called "day-for-night" as it would have been impossible to light the actress in the water at night, etc.

reply

True, but still I wonder if they could do it with today's cameras and if it would look different if actually filmed at night...

reply

This scene was shot during the day. Using special filters and film processing it was darkened to look like it was filmed when it was dark.

If you watch any of the HD/BluRay versions of the film it is much brighter.
