Reminded me of Power Rangers

This movie was a real trip! I found myself kind of disliking it for this reason, but the movie itself is awesome!

Power rangers?You know what power rangers reminds me of?Super Sentai.

Power Rangers are merely an extension of the older live action "masked hero" style series from Japan and elsewhere.
Infra-Man gets its inspiration more from series like Ultra-Man, Kamen Rider, Spectre-Man and many many more that deal with a single hero. A common theme being the "Giant Hero" which Infra-Man shares most of its roots with.

Nope. They had some Japanese tv shows, like the two Fugitive Alien compilations, Time of the Apes, and Mighty Jack, plus things like Godzilla and Gamera.
