But they cannot use any CGI ...keep it real like the original, just update the special effects and storyline a little bit.

I wonder if MST3K ever did this movie? Anyway I liked the movie too. And a remake would be awesome. I'd like to see someone bring back Ultra-Man! Or Gyver!

To clarify my original comment, it wouldn't have to necessarily be a Hollywood production, the film could be re-made in Hong Kong for all I care...(actually might be preferred)...just as long as they do it.

Agree to disagree.....but a modernized (non-hollywood) remake would be pretty awesome imo

No way!! A big part of this movie's charm is its crumminess. If it's remade with modern sfx it will lose all the magic! A sequel with a new story would be alright though, maybe "Infra-Man Next" or something.

Agreed. If they did a remake or a sequel they could just improve the costumes a bit. Like in those equally gorgeously crummy films; The Guyver and GuyverII!!

I wouldn't mind a remake, but it would never be able to recapture the charm of the original.
