So amusing how many people are bothered by the various bodily functions depicted in the movie. It's a movie you chose to watch, if you don't like it or it skeeves you out then turn it off. It's just that simple (and you're kind of missing the point).

He was in the middle of nowhere and, like anyone else in that situation, would need a dump. I found it amusing and touching and fitted with the rest of the film. I find it strange that hardly anyone in any film goes to the toilet. Characters travel or hours or days, or get stuck somewhere but not one says "I need the toilet now or I'm going to *beep* myself". It's such a natural act and something everyone has to do every few hours, so why should it not be depicted in films?
