I just came over to browse the forum, because I am considering getting this DVD. I read the book many, many moons ago, and sadly, lost my copy of it. I want another copy of the book, of course, but I am somewhat intrigued to get the film version.
Of course, I tend to follow threads in which Miss October participates, because they seem to be interesting and offer some interesting and valid insight. The one linked above was an interesting read, and I do applaud those who are trying to educate others. I find I often do not have such patience.
Anyway, I rarely post on such things, but after reading the other thread, I felt a bit compelled.
