What would Charles Dickens think of this movie?

Dicken’s "Hard TImes”, written during the 1850’s is nothing like this film. There is no connection to Mr. Gradgrind or to Coketown which is disappointing. Instead this film is about a street fighter and his struggles. What do you think Charles Dickens would make of this film?
