The Oyster Bar
Anybody know where that spectacular white tile Oyster Bar is located and if it still exists?
shareI have always remembered that white tile Oyster bar since I first saw it when I was 12 yrs. old in 1975. I would like to visit it my damn self.

shareThe waterfront scenes I saw in the movie were on the river.I do not know where the oyster beds themselves were located.

Also early scenes were supposed to be somewhere else than New Orleans because they leave town to go to New Orleans, so I wondered if this white tiled oyster bar wasn't in New Orleans were was it? And that place had no river shown, unlike New Orleans. So don't *beep* around, if you know where this place is, say so, but don't try to put words in my mouth as to where the oysters come from. I can't afford oysters anyway so I don't care where they come from, but admire the architecture.

Absurdity: A Statement or belief inconsistent with my opinion.
Sorry, my mistake. I mean OYSTER BEDS. I have no interest id where the oysters come from because they don't come from there anymore because of BP but there is a chance that the OYSTER BAR still exists.
