One reviewer commented on the unique accent McGoohan uses in his portrayal of Major Cabot and claims that it is his own voice.
I am a huge fan of Patrick McGoohan, and have heard him employ various types of American accents in THE MOONSHINE WAR, his appearances on "Columbo," his audio interview with Roger Goodman, etc. I've seen GENIO many times now and am almost completely certain that his voice is dubbed in this film.
Am I wrong? Could somebody confirm?
As with a lot of spaghetti westerns, the voices were added in post-production which means he is dubbed but it's definitely McGoohan's own. He's a terrific manipulator of his own voice and sounds quite unique in this film but when you listen carefully, you'll hear the sort of sounds that only he's capable of making.

Except in this case the likelihood is that McGoohan sounded like Robert Rietty, who was the source of the dub.
