Funny movie

Let me start by saying That I am not a fan of Warren Beatty, I love Nicholson and Mike Nichols can be brilliant and at times erratic. That being said, I thought that this movie was completely charming! I thought Beatty was very understated: not over the top and Nicholson shows his range not playing the typical anti-hero. Oh by the way, did I mention Stockard Channing? She brings new meaning to campiness; kind of remeinded me of the altruiitic performance by Johnny Depp in Ed Wood. It's a shame she didn't go further b/c she's wonderful here.

The last scene where Nicky and Oscar's foiled sheme is explained to her(using the long shot which morphs into a close-up) is a nice piece of filmmaking.
