THE MUSIC!!!

Don't you think the music in this film is brilliant?!

I am Norwegian and i grew up with the Ivo Caprino films.
The music is simply a masterpiece!!!

I bought the flaklypa medley on iTunes today and it just struck me how
i remember my childhood, just sitting there and watching this movie over and over again.
Now i listen to the songs and i remember them all!!!!

Thanks Ivo Caprino, the perfect childhood experience.

I agree, the music is great. And I was quite surprised when I learned that it was Bent Fabricius Bjerre who wrote the music, as he is probably the most well known composer here in Denmark, when it comes to film scores.
I just got the soundtrack in the mail today, but was greatly dissapointed when I found out that it was with the voices on top, let alone the Norwgian voices, I don't understand Norwegian :/
In general I think Scandinavian countries are bad at putting out soundtracks, especially to the old movies. Previously mentioned Danish composer Fabricius Bjerre has made a ton of cool instrumentals for Danish cult movies like Pas På Frede! But without a doubt you'll never see that released on a CD.

Anywho, I recommend you check out a composer by the name of Sven Libaek, who is actually Norwegian (though now residing in Australia).
He's one of my music heroes, and his music reminds me of Flåklypa Grand Prix.

Hi!

The music is finally being released on CD and iTunes.
It´s NOT the available release that really has no music on it (really dissapointing). This release will be the original score, so we can all enjoy the wonderful music :)

Release date is December 8th! :)
