Soundtrack changed?

I've seen this movie a lot of times; however since I got the new reissued version on DVD I keep thinking something's different. Could some of the music been switched out, possible due to copyright leasing? Is anyone else familiar with older prints of this film?

Yeah, I noticed, too, joe. I have both the DVD and an old VHS tape. I noticed that the song "Have A Merry, Merry, Merry Christmas," which is playing as Dawn runs from her parents home on Christmas (after stomping on all the X-mas gifts and then knocking over that huge tree on her hapless mother, all the while cursing and screaming just because she didn't get her cha-cha heels) sounds different. It's either been re-mixed for the new DVD or is a different version altogether, I can't tell which.

That's about all the diffrences I've noted, unless there's something I missed?

We're desperate, get used to it. It's kiss or kill...

The soundtrack on the Pink Flamingos DVD is different too. On VHS when the Marbles are driving to Divine's house to burn it down, the music is from Stravinsky's 'Rite of Spring'. On the DVD, it's something else, but definitely not the Stravinsky.
