I think that camera shot looking down through Edith's massive, half-covered boobs with her mouth fully agape, revealing each of her teeth in all its snaggle-toothed loveliness against her beestung lops and bleached hair - as she writhes and screams in anguish over the loss of her beloved "Gator" - has to rank as one of the greatest cinematic shots EVER.

It certainly is the best John Waters shot in all of his movies (outranking even the "winking" sphincter in "Pink Flamingoes").

lmfao!!! my favourite uncle brought this movie to our house and we all watched it, and that part where she's screaming "gator no!!!" we were already laughing in a very horrified way, and then as soon as the camera made that shot of her boobs we just all screamed, lol! it was brilliantly disgustingly hilarious.
