Gator/Crackers - Doppelgangers?

Now, I know that the two characters are credited under different names, but is it me, or does Gator from Female Trouble look exactly like Crackers from Pink Flamingos??? (Minus the facial hair obviously). They have the same front tooth missing and everything!!!

Just wondering if anyone else noticed the uncanny lookalikes...

"Oh my God!!! Somebody sent me a bowel movement!!!"

Thats because he is the same person!

They're listed as different actors, and Waters tells about how they got the guy who plays Gator to be in the movie, so they supposedly aren't the same person...

This has become something of an urban legend in the last few years. They do have very simular features.

If you look on dreamland news website Danny Mills is credited as Gator despite Waters telling a very different story on the dvd audio track as to how they cast the actor who supposedly played Gator.

One other thing is Waters says that the cast still get payed 25% of profits from Pink Flamingos despite Waters claiming not to know where Danny Mills is to this day.

I think it is Danny Mills and he just wanted to be credited as someone else because he would of got a lot of flack for some of his scenes in Pink Flamingos.

reply

Clearly, Danny Mills (Crackers) and Michael Potter (Gator) are different persons with the same look.

reply

They are not the same person. Don't be silly.

"Family" is just another word for "Censorship"

reply

Waters might have been going for someone with a similar look. However, Danny Mills never appeared in a film (outside of documentaries) after Pink Flamingos.
