Favorite quotes that are overlooked

Dawn (at the dinner party with the Dashers): "I'm afraid there's not enough for you, Taffy. How 'bout some TOAST?"

Dawn to Taffy: "You're a pain, too, Taffy. A pain in my big as$ hole!"

Earl: "I don't know anyone named Taffy. I'm busy right now!"
Earl: (after throwing up on Taffy) "I'm sorry. I've been drinkin'".

Ida (to Gator) "I'm sorry about Ernie, Gator, but anyone's better than Dawn Slovenport.".
Ida (in birdcage)" "You let me out of here, Dawn Pigpork, or you'll be sorry!"
Ida (at Dawn's trial) "She forced me at gunpoint into her crummy little house, made me wear a feathered dress, locked me in a birdcage, and made me exhibit myself in front of her!"
Ida (at Dawn's trial) "It's the truth, Pigpork, and you know it".

Dawn (to Donna at trial) "You lying b****h! You're the one who gave me those beauty treatments! You're the one who kidnapped Ida! You lying bleached blonde b****h! LIAR! LIAR!".

Earnestine (in Dawn's prison cell). "You're so *beep* up, baby! Give momma a big sloppy kiss!".

Prison guard (to Dawn). "You're gonna be one fried lady today! Ha Ha Ha!".
Prison guard (to Dawn). "Here's your food, Porkchop, eat up! (throws down plate) Ain't got much time.".

Dawn (in electric chair) "I love every *beep* one of you! AAHHHHHHHH!!!!".

Oh, I forgot to add:

Dawn (home from the hospital) Why, hello, Taffy. I'm home from the hospital. Did you miss mommy? I'm alright.".

Taffy (to Dawn). "I was hoping the next time I'd see you would be at your funeral! You sure look ugly!".

Ida (to Taffy) "You little bytch! You let me outta this g*******m birdcage!".
Taffy" "Little bytch? Is that all the thanks I get? I gave you a hook, and Mother would kill me if she knew.".

DAWN: Pretty pretty?

Dawn on the witness stand when asked if she killed her daughter: "Yes I did and I'm proud of it!"

A line that always sticks in my mind: "I'm trying to get an education so I can get into a good college."

Another great one: "I recommend Ray's Wig World." What a putdown.

Also, "see you after my last wash and set." I assume that must be something hair dressers really said at that time. Maybe they still do. I think Divine and Waters might've both been hair dressers at one time. I know Divine was (Mr. Glenn was his professional name).

One more: as Dawn is sitting on the electric chair: "It's comfortable." Just like something you'd say if you were sitting down in a friend's fancy new car.

"Extremism in the pursuit of moderation is no vice."

One of my favorite lines from Dawn to Taffy.

He's right Taffy, for 14 you don't look so good. It's because all your life you've been such a brat and now all that brattishness is showing on your face. The face of a retarded brat.

"Now if you'll excuse me, I've got to go fill my freezer with my own blood"

Ida is actually saying "Pigport", not "Pigpork".

Ida: The world of heterosexual is a sick and boring life.

Donna: I couldn't possibly eat spaghetti. Do I look Italian?

Plenty of underappreciated gems in this movie. Two of my faves are:

(1) When Dawn meets Gator at the Lipstick Beauty Salon, she hops into his chair and says, "Oh, Gator, I've heard so much about you. Could somebody run and get me an egg salad on white toast?"

(2) Later, in court, Donald Dasher testifies about Dawn and Taffy "They had a big fight over religious freedom". At the end of his speech, he bursts into tears and says, "I lived through HELL that day!"

The DVD restored my favorite line that had been cut from the VHS. About midway in the film, when Dawn goes to the beauty salon and says "I just want my hair done, quickly and quietly"
