Mr. Bolt?

Now, I know I'm gonna get flamed for saying this, but I just watched this for the first time (and figured out that the one I'd seen in the past was the remake, but that's not the point here) and does anyone else think that Bolt is a bit creepy at first?

I mean, first he comments that Tia is beautiful and that Tony is "attractive." Okay, sure, it's 1975 Disney dialogue, so you have to allow for some of that. But then, Bolt installs hidden cameras in their rooms and wants to take them to his chalet so they "can't escape". Seems a bit pedo-ish to me (just saying).

I'm sure you'd only see that if it was on your mind (and it kinda was, since I watched the Nightmare on Elm Street remake a few days ago) but, really, did anybody else have the same impression?

Only pop music can save us now!

bit late on reply here i guess..but from watching the film when I was younger I always got the feeling that Bolt knew about there powers and all the secrets etc etc and therefore wanted to use them in some way or make sure no one else could use them, therefore he didnt want them to escape.. and also recorded them to get proof maybe?

Also 3 years late but The entire reason for them being there was because they had powers. the cameras weren't to watch them undressing they were to watch use of their powers

I never got the impression he was creepy. There was no indication of cameras in either of their private bedrooms or bathrooms.

The cameras seemed to only be in the "common room" that connected both bedrooms.

The camera in the kids' personal space creeped out my mom, and the fake uncle said he was installing more so who knows where all they would have ended up.
