Ray Milland

I am just wondering if there was anybody else who enjoyed Ray Milland's performance in this film. I really liked the film, and one of the main reasons why I enjoyed it was Milland's deliciously evil turn as Aristotle Bolt.

Ray Milland was a good vllian in this film-but he has played villians before-Like in "Dial 'M' for Murder" directed by Alfred Hitchcock.

I happen to dislike Archie Bunker with great passion and conviction

Agreed, but I enjoyed everyone's performance!

You can see a younger Ray Milland in a very different character in Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid (1982), a Steve Martin comedy film-noir spoof that uses old black&white movie clips.

For the first half of the movie, I thought he was Carl Reiner.

The character was a good addition to the story and Milland played him perfectly.

reply

Yeah he was great. But, Milland is great in everything he's ever done.

reply

Oh yes, he played a great villain. I think he is particularly funny in the scene with his helicopter upside-down! Just that deadpan disbelief!

I am not a fan. I just happen to enjoy movies. Fans are embarrassing.

He played the corrupt Sire Uri in the original Battlestar Galactica.
