Did anyone see this at a cinema or drive in back in the 70's when it was first released? Also were there any reviews of ENCOUNTER WITH THE UNKNOWN in the local press at time of release and were they positive or negative?

I saw it in a cinema when I was about 15 years old; it was the Lighthouse Plaza Cinema (now defunct) in Tequesta, Florida. I don't remember the reviews, but this film sure scared me at the time!
