Is the pilot guy really the lover of Emmanuelle's husband?

Is this ever explicitly stated in the movie, and if so, where and how? Or is it just hinted at or left open?

NB, this is stated in the IMDb synopsis: "Her husband's lover [is] very puzzled by [Emmanuelle and her husband's] openness". Personally, I'm not so sure, but I may have missed something.

Thanks.

i never got that impression orginally, Jean seemed too much into the women, but hey, i could be wrong.

Yes, Jean was bisexaul, and Paul was his lover. It was fairly obvious. in the 70's lesbianism was rampant in these films, as they were geared more towards a hetero male audience. An audience that might have felt uncomfortable with anything more than a suggestion of two handsome, totally normal looking guys who happend to enjoy eachothers company. The whole point of these "Emmanuelle films" was that there were no sexual boundaries, with anybody. No sex was unhealthy, or wrong. I respect "Emmanuelle 2" because it was one of the few erotic films of the time to deal with bisexual guys. it was ahead of its time, and shocked alot of people, im sure!

I'm pretty sure the "husband's lover" is referring to Lauren, the woman that Jean had an (offscreen) affair with before Emmanuelle arrived in Hong Kong...
