1973 or 1975?
Here on IMDb, this series has been listed as being from 1975. However, in the closing credits of the series, it is listed as 'MCMLXXIII' (1973). Who's correct, and who's wrong?
shareFor tv programming, IMDb always uses the date of the first transmission. It's likely the series was copyrighted in 1973 but was not transmitted until 1975.
Another example: Pride and Prejudice (1980). It has an on-screen copyright of 1979, but IMDb lists it for 1980 because that's when it was first screened on UK television.
