Dolemite on DVD?

Its been on DVD for quite some time now. In fact theres a Dolemite box set with all five Rudy Ray Moore classics.

I found this treasure in the used CD/DVD/LP...yes, LP....store. Not much extra on the DVD, but there's a curious trip down memory lane with RRM. It's poorly shot, hand-held video. I've shot better tape at my 3-year-old's birthday party, and much of it is inaudible. Nevertheless, RRM wraps up in his mack-daddy pimp coat and walks around some set in El Lay talking about his film glory days.

Also includes some extended theatrical trailers of the other triumphant Dolemite collection.

Funny part is, I'd never heard of Dolemite until I saw some satirical sketches on Mad TV with Aries Speares in the title role and various honky goons trying steal his pimp cane.

Savor the goodness. My mockery is cheap from my PC, because it's more full-length motion picture than I've ever made.

you can get the dvd on amazon, that's where i got mine, you can also get the sequels to dolemite as well. i first heard of this movie when i was watching 'great white hype' (another underrated movie) and damon wayan's character is watching 'dolemite' before the fight ("wait until after the love scene"). anyways,i got the dvd off amazon.com shortly after and i have to say this movie is ridiculous, well worth the money

The Human Tornado DVD actually has extra scenes. Worth the cost of the box set.
