Urban legend says that both Dolemite and "The human Tornadodo" have harder versions. I agree. There's too many jumps and cuts during the sex scenes. What do you guys think?
sharei do realize that this is a little bit late , possibly, but i think there might have been a hardcore version, at least i think there were cuts from the sex scene, and that the punching of the guys stomach was cut too. If you watch the trailer, the stomach punch scene is more graphical than in the movie.
I doubt that it still exists in a watchable version today though.

I agree. Funny, with all the DVD multiple versions of older movies, this one has been left untouched and all we have if the Xenon Video version. The search continues...

Given now after all this time how no one has proven that there is a harder version of these movies, I officially call B.S.

The new Bluray used an original negative, and it is the same cut as the versions on VHS and DVD. The commentary on the Bluray mentions that there were cuts made to the sex and heart scenes, but were made prior to the film being rated "R."

I noticed jump cuts on the DVD but more in the violent scenes than sex scenes. The killing of Green was cut, looks like Dolemite ripped his guts out with his bare hands!!! Perhaps like Last House on the Left, no master print was saved and the many prints sent out were cut by local theaters or even the nastiest stuff was cut and saved by projectionists. Therefore, a complete cut was not found when the DVD was made and we have to make do.
I'd be happy if the sex scenes aren't extended, Dolemite's man boobs are bad enough in the current cut.
