This movie takes place in 1972, was released in 1975 yet when you see Sonny's wife and kids during the opening credits, they walk past a movie marquee that is showing A STAR IS BORN which was released in 1976... is that an anachronism or could it have been a second run movie house playing the 1954 Judy Garland version???

It's a mistake and should be in the goofs section. It's not a second run of the Judy Garland version as you can see Barbara Streisand's name on the marquee.
shareI don't see Streisand's name there - there is something written above the title, but only the very bottom parts of the letters are visible. And how could it possibly be, anyway, considering that A Star Is Born premiered in December 1976 while DDA was filmed during the first half of 1975, at least 1,5 years earlier?
