I saw this on tv when it was first shown and keep hoping to see it again. It has been so long ago. I think the real killer was black but in this movie if memory is not faulty he was white. I think Raul Julia purses him on a bicycle near the end. Hopefully it will be available sooon.

Yes, great bicycle chased at the end and Julia's character bites it hard trying to ride the stolen bike down a steep flight of stairs. It's a quite hilarious moment in an otherwise tense scene.
