50th Anniversary

This shooting spree happened on Monday, August 1, 1966, and this past Monday, three days ago, was the 50th anniversary of it. And in both years, ironically, August 1 fell on a Monday. I know I am three days late, but I had been aware of this anniversary coming up for some time and had planned to post this on Monday for the exact anniversary, but then was unable to get to the library until today.

I also made a posting for its 40th anniversary ten years ago, which is still on this board and active, and please see it for details. But after being homeless from 1997 to 2010 and having no acess to TV or home video, I got my own apartment and a TV and DVD player that year, and brought numerous movies on DVD to watch. I wanted The Deadly Tower, as it was one of my favorite movies, but could not find it anywhere, and then joined netflix in 2013, but it was also unavailable from there. But I joined amazon in early 2015 and began buying alot of movies, including this one, which I got that spring for a reasonable price. I have since watched it several times, including on Monday night for this anniversary.
