Excellent use of San Francisco locales!

This film makes excellent use of San Francisco locales, back when a lot more movies were made there.

Ethel appears to have been released from San Francisco General Hospital. Does anyone know what neighborhood her house was in? Do any other locales look familiar?

I think her house is at 1928 Pine Street, near the corner of Pine and Laguna. I THINK. It's definitely on that block.

Thanks for the details. I'll check it out the next time I'm on the block.

You know what's funny? If you check the house out on Google maps, you'll see that the shades have been drawn in every picture since 2008. I think a real Ethel and her grandma must live there.

I just checked Google Maps, and you're right: The shades are drawn in every year. That's insane – criminally speaking.

Right?! I wonder how many grocery delivery boys have gone missing in the neighborhood in the past 20 years.
