Is this not the best plot ever concieved for the screen?!

Conviene far bene l'amore (1975)
In the future, the world's oil supply has finally been exhausted, causing a massive enery crisis. In a search for alternative sources of energy, a scientist invents a machine that can harness the energy expended during sexual intercourse and transfer it into electrical power."

This movie is great, but seemingly no one has ever seen it or heard of it. I found an old VHS copy and rented it because the plot description was so funny, and I was not disappointed.

If a machine like this was ever developed there would be no more energy crisis....ever.
