Ben Gazarra is terrible in this movie

Was Ben Gazzara ever good? His performance as Capone reminds me of seeing somebody dressed as a gangster on an episode of Let's Make a Deal. I'm surprised he doesn't have one of those big plastic cigars you can get in the toy stores around Halloween. To say he's hammy doesn't even address it and to make matters worse they tried to give him joules like Brando has in "The Godfather." I guess if it worked for Brando it will work for Gazarra!!! No, it looks terrible and phony. Stallone as Frank Nitti acts circles around the often bewildered Gazarra. Skip this one.
