Pretty odd seeing a switcher locomotive pulling a few passenger cars. Switchers are designed to do railroad yard work, re-positioning freight cars from one place in the yard to another, at slow speeds.

And, you also see lots of ads for early-day Amtrak, which lets you know that Amtrak was probably the only passenger service running at the time, which made any other service pretty unlikely.
