GREAT 1970'S ACTION FUN!!!

First of all, I saw this film 5 times as a teenager in '75. I loved it then, and watching it again on DVD, I love it still. Charlie Bronson is at his all time best in this film. He brings a sense of humor along making this one his most likeable performances. A loveable scumbag. There is just a lot of fun being had without the loss of danger. Great vistas, cool shots, and even some naked breasts, which used to happen occasionally back during the 70's even in PG films. GREAT FUN!!!

...that is helped by a as always great score composed by Jerry Goldsmith, I am so happy I got this soundtrack now.

I found this film for a buck in a thrift store, and it was great fun. Not quite Bronson's best film, but definitely worthwhile. And I love the grittiness of it. There are some great stunts, particularly where the inmate falls from the helicopter and the INS agent gets chopped by the airplane. I would love to see this at the drive-in, if I could only find one. The '70s were truly the best decade for film.

I agree, I like so many of Bronson's movies. Definitely don't agree with Roger Ebert's comment "every 4th Charles Bronson picture is gonna be worth looking at".
