As a part of Louis Malle's 75 birthday celebration on Turner Classic Movies, Black Moon will be shown October 23 at 3:30 AM. Here is the corresponding article, with the directors comments on the movie:

Just saw it! The article does help in the understanding, but I recommend seeing the movie first. My advice: enjoy the images the director shows you. You'll probably see the film's primary themes without trying to hard.
