The painting showing a bird slaying scene

I find its alchemical symbolism very powerful. It looks like something from Hindu mythology, from the Vedas or perhaps the Ramayana. Does anyone know which particular story it depicts?

Stop being all intelligent and sophisticated, the movie sucked. It didn't have any cgi or slow motion scenes.

The painting is about the demon Rāvaṇa, personification of lust and ferocity and king of Heavens, Earth and Hell, killing the divine bird Jatayu which tried to rescue Sītā (Rāma's wife) from kidnapping (then Rāvaṇa get killed and Sītā rescued by Rāma, personification of God). It could be a very important explication of some obscure elements depicted in the movie: so, brother Lily is a negative character symbolically close to Rāvaṇa.
