Please, does anybody know anything about a DVD release? I watched this one in a summer-cinema in Athens two years ago, an old copy which kept burning through the screening... It is perhaps the funniest comedy I have ever watched. Should I try petition online for a release?...
i'm afraid the only dvd you can find is region 2, only in italian with no english subtitles.

I have this DVD on Brazil, it's all regions, but it is subtitled only on porguesese and spanish.

Subtitles available in Brazilian Portuguese and Italian.

I was in this summer-cinema too (i think it was one near Thissio)and i remember very well that there was burning throughout the screening (i think the screening was stopped 2 or 3 times that night).
I bought the 3 Amici Miei movies in Italy in a package of 3 DVD. They all have 5.1 surround sound and italian subtitles for the hearing impaired.It is not easy to watch if you don't know a word in Italian!
Luckily for you and me i see in www.videorama.gr that the 3 movies will be in the Greek stores soon with Greek subtitles off course!
If you have only seen the first one do see the second too because it is better!
The third is not so good though. The first 2 are the best Italian comedies ever along with "I Soliti Ignoti"

I bought the first 2 movies yesterday, on Monday I am buying the last of the trilogy. Though the greek subtitling is not as good as I remembered it in the cinema, at last I can watch these movies as many times as I like :)

shareTwo years ago i've seen - in Italy - an italian special edition with the two first movies with english subtitles and many extras. There's no day i regret to don't have bought it. These are two of the better comedies ever made, and the scene in railway station it deserves to be in a museum of better slapsticks scenes in all cinema history. Try to find in internet an italian dvd shop with postal service, sure there are. Good luck.
